Would rather A than B, 宁愿做A, 不要B

Would rather A than B 两个都用动词原型。如果是在对话当中，双方都知道B的内容，则可以省略B, 只说Would rather A.

eg. I would rather stay at home than go shopping.
I would rather stay at home.

I would rather = I’d rather

比较 prefer 更喜欢 的用法
